Our History In 1994, we were ready for additional expansion. Since there was no additional space available in the shopping center, we looked elsewhere. We opened our second store that year in Bellevue and doubled its size to 12,500 s.f. in 1995. During 1996, we concentrated our efforts on maximizing use of current showroom space. In 1997, we began seeking a larger space in which to relocate our Tusculum Square store upon lease expiration. In April 1998, we moved from the 6,200 s. f. space at Tusculum Square into a huge 43,000 s. f. space a couple of miles away in the Windlands Shopping Center on Nolensville Road at Grassmere. In 1999 and 2000, we again concentrated our efforts on fine-tuning our business. During 2001, we moved from our 43,000 s.f. Grassmere location, which was just too large to easily manage, to a smaller, better located 10,000 s.f. space in an excellent location near Cool Springs Galleria in Brentwood. During 2002 and 2003, we again focused our efforts on fine-tuning Finders Keepers and concentrated on promoting consignment and seeking additional lines of merchandise which fit well within our niche in the marketplace. We also refocused our attention to detail and how to better serve our consignors and customers. In 2004, we moved our Bellevue store to a beautiful new and larger space in the Bellevue Center Mall. We had some reservations about moving from a freestanding building on a major highway into a large regional mall but it turned out to be a tremendous opportunity for us. We now have two showrooms, one in Rivergate across from the Rivergate Mall as well as our Cool Springs store in Brentwood, a total of more than 20,000 square feet, and business is simply wonderful.
